This is one of my favourite photos from my makeover in Taipei, at the White Ladder studio.
Maybe it is a jinxed photo. Now my leg looks just like the picture. All wrapped up in a cast - only it's not so furry and much more colorful, thanks to my sister who took it upon her artistic self to vandalise my cast.
I broke my tibia bone (near the ankle) on my left foot on Chinese New Year's eve while on a flight to Sydney. The plane lurched a few feet in the air and threw everyone off their feet. Only I did not happen to be standing on both of mine at the time.
The doctor says that I'd be 6 weeks in a cast, the horrible stinky thing. On the bright side, it's been 5 weeks and tomorrow! Oh beautiful day! I will be seeing the doctor and removing the cast! Hopefully he will say that I am ready to have the cast removed. *fingers and toes crossed*
The day of the accident was 17 Feb 2007. What drama ensued.
After five long weeks being house-bound, I can't wait to be set free once again into society. Will keep you updated on the progress.
