This is when the cast came off, revealing the scrawny leg. That's me still in the wheelchair waiting to be x-rayed after the removal of the cast at the hospital.
This is the foot again that evening, when the cast first came off and all the blood rushed in to the leg and thus causing swelling.
After being hidden away from the face of the earth for 6 weeks, the dead skin cells had no where to drop off to and stayed clinging on to my feet and calf. It felt really great to scrub it all off.
All the freaky things that happened to the leg when it came out of the cast. I propped it up on a pillow while I was on the net. And because there was no muscle to support the leg, the sole sunk and became very pronounced when I finally lifted it from the pillow.
